Hello, guys! This is super delayed because I’m a trash girl!
I’ve decided to go a different route with reviews this season, and instead of preparing a Season Impressions and subsequent Thoughts and Feelings columns- I’m going to make a living currently watching post!
I just don’t have the time to work on everything without pause with the same vigor I have been… I’m a little burnt out on the whole thing, and I’m very busy in my personal life at the moment- as an FYI, this is likely how the blog will continue for the time being.
So, below is a collection of everything I am watching!
As soon as I drop a show, I will put down the episode I dropped out on and the reason why I’m dropping the show. At the end of the season, I will write a review on all the shows I kept up with (no promises on the “all” – more likely most).
Anything below with little * next to them are my favorites this season, and I highly suggest you watch these titles!
As always, the shows are in alphabetical order and link directly to their show pages!
Thank you for your continued support!
Dropped at episode two! I just didn’t care for the humor or the story. There are better things to watch this season if you want funny, in my opinion.
Dropped at episode one! That main character’s inane screaming he entire episode was far too much for me. If this show gets better, let me know, though- I’m willing to grit my teeth if it’s worth the pain.
Dropped at episode three! The art is really beautiful, but I didn’t care for the story. Since I’m not into otome games, Code:Realize hasn’t made me want to continue. The anime is very game-like.
Dropped at episode six- about halfway through! I was very much into this show’s idea and aesthetic when it first launched, but it quickly stagnated and I got – well – very bored with it. That’s what I get hoping for a modern Hellsing…
Dropped at episode two! This one had a terrible pilot that didn’t catch my interest. It’s like a Prison School knock-off, and I didn’t like Prison School.
Dropped at episode three! I really love the IdolMaster series, but I wasn’t feeling this one this season. I do plan on finishing the show, but it’s going to be later down the line. Please watch it if you like IdolMaster!
Dropped at episode one! It’s very, very cute- but not my style. It’s a fanservice show for people who like girls and hot springs without plot. Since the art style is lacking and the animation isn’t bringing anything new, Konohana is an immediate drop.
Dropped at episode eight! I know… I made it pretty far, and why stop? I’m just not into this show. It’s really pretty, but the boys aren’t doing to the heart-flutter thing they should be doing, and I couldn’t care less about the protag girl. No matter how hard I try- I just can’t do Otome.
Dropped at episode one! The story didn’t catch my attention, and the characters lacked any semblance of depth compared to the IdolMaster series.
Dropped at episode two! This series is very cute, and the pastel style fits like a glove. I don’t care of the lackadaisical story-telling or the the plot in general. I’m happy that OMOCAT and company got their show made, but it’s just not for me.
